Role of a CorePower Yoga Instructor A CorePower Yoga Instructor delivers an extraordinary experience through welcoming check-ins, guiding classes, and supporting students to live their power. Instructors cultivate supportive relationships, ensure safety, and embody CPY Core Values at all times.

Essential Job Duties Teach at least two (2) classes per week, totaling a minimum of 4 hours in studio.

Provide a safe, supportive environment by educating on alignment, offering modifications, and using CPY cueing formulas.

Arrive 30 minutes before and after classes to read communications, plan classes, and connect with students.

Engage with students before and after class to support their growth and community development.

Perform front desk duties, including check-ins, POS transactions, and creating a memorable experience.

Maintain cleanliness according to CPY standards to ensure safety.

Uphold CPY Core Values and foster a positive studio environment.

Act as an ambassador for CPY initiatives, including memberships, programming, retail, etc.

Skills & Experience Completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training, with additional hours depending on the date of certification.

Current CPR / AED certification.

Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in computer applications.

Ability to lead physical activity for up to 1.5 hours and withstand heat up to 104°F for 60 mins.

Ability to move around, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
