Security Professional - Financial Desk Concierge

As a Security Professional - Financial Desk Concierge in Paterson, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, providing a welcoming presence while assisting with security-related matters. Your role will involve monitoring access, verifying credentials, and offering exceptional customer service. By remaining attentive and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive environment. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance related to security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
