Registered Nurse - Correctional Services

CoreCivic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a correctional environment.\n\nSalary : $36.89 - $48.80 per hour\n\nAt CoreCivic, our commitment goes beyond managing inmates; we are passionate about providing high-quality care in an institutional setting.\n\nAs a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our inmates / residents by performing various nursing functions, including but not limited to : \n

• Applying appropriate nursing skills in the treatment and care of inmates / residents.\n
• Assisting physicians during sick calls, preparing necessary lists and examining rooms.\n
• Examining and assessing new inmates or those who become ill or injured, and referring them to emergency care as needed.\n
• Performing emergency procedures and communicating with Licensed Independent Providers for necessary treatment orders.\n
• Guiding, supervising, and monitoring the nursing care provided by licensed vocational and non-licensed medical staff.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a nursing degree / diploma.\n
• Current licensure in the state of employment is required.\n
• Preferred : One (1) year of professional nursing experience.\n
• A valid driver's license is required.\n
