Dining Services Supply Manager
Operates and maintains the flow of supplies for Dining Services; Responsible for ensuring that all dining outlets receive the necessary supplies in order to provide meals to our residents; Responsible for maintaining an inventory of all said supplies for cost control; Upholds the philosophy, vision and core values of the organization and ensures the Christian Mission of EverTrue is realized so that "Older Adults Live Life to the Fullest"
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Orders all supplies for Dining Services from approved vendors
- Keeps inventory levels in distribution center, care center storage, bar, and market
- Receives, assists, records all requisition requests from Care Center
- Enters data in the corresponding software for all food distributed to the Care Center
- Performs inventory every month in the Kitchen, Dining Kitchen, A.L. Kitchen, distribution center, care center storage, and bar
- Performs price and product updates to the inventory throughout the month
- Performs quarterly inventory and completes orders for all small wares for Kitchen, Dining Kitchen, A.L. Kitchen, and Care Center
- Receives and verifies deliveries from food vendors, beverage vendors and alcohol vendors, making sure to check expiration dates, quality, damage, weights, of all deliveries; Unpacks, dates, labels and stores all products using F.I.F.O. as promptly as possible
- Performs and completes a food and beverage order for all menus and events as needed
- Works closely with supplier representatives to ensure that the best quality and pricing of products is available
- Codes all Dining Services invoices and enters data in the corresponding software. Ensures such invoices are properly coded in due time and transmitted to the Director of Dining Services or Executive Chef for approval
- May need to shop at local grocery stores periodically to pick up any items needed for distribution center, care center storage center, bar, and market
- Performs daily cleaning assignments to maintain proper sanitation and safety in the distribution center and care center storage center keeping all areas clean, organized and properly stocked using F.I.F.O.; Utilizes and maintains all equipment according to safety and manufacturers operating instructions
- Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, food storage, and disposal and wearing of appropriate protective clothing and PPE as needed
- Follows all safety procedures and protocol as dictated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations, and standard food handling practices and corrects and or reports all hazardous condition, defective equipment and accidents to their supervisor immediately
- Remains mindful of purchasing requirements and budget restrictions
- Works closely with Executive Chef and Dining Services Director to determine product replacement, samples, and new products acceptable to uphold the standards and satisfy our residents
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of college preferredThree (3) years purchasing experience for large volume establishment, food and beverage preferredAbility to create, read, analyze, and interpret reports pertaining to the ordering and distribution of all suppliesMust have excellent computer skills with knowledge of online ordering, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft ExcelAbility to work closely with Dining Services Director, Executive Chef, Dietician, and all members of Dining Services to help meet the needs of our residents.ServSafe Food Handling Certification or Illinois Food Service Sanitation CertificationPhysical Activities and Demands :

EverTrue Pay & Benefits :
Pay grade : 10, $18.05 / hour to $28.80 / hour.
