job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTHIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced AI / ML Architect with an active Secret-level Security Clearance to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of secure environments, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation in mission-critical applications. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned. Responsibilities : Architect, design, and implement AI / ML solutions tailored for secure, mission-driven environments Lead end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and DevSecOps teams to integrate ML models into production systems Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and ethical standards related to AI / ML in federal environments Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy in constrained environments Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI / ML practitioners Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in the AI / ML space Basic Qualifications : Active U.S. Secret Clearance (must be current and verifiable) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field 7+ years of experience in software development and data science roles, with at least 3 years in an AI / ML architect or leadership role Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn Experience designing AI / ML architectures in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and / or on-premise secure networks Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and MLOps practices Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, NLP, computer vision, or time-series data Must be a U.S. Citizen If applicable : If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered Company Summary : Join the VSolvit Team!
