Position Overview
The Business Analyst (MME PMO) will support the client in modernizing its Medicaid Management Enterprise (MME). As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), the Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, supporting system design, facilitating testing, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with project methodology .
Business Analysts will work across multiple solution implementation projects, including Provider Benefit Administration (PBA) and Prior Authorization (PA) , and will collaborate directly with other employed Project Managers, vendor solution teams, and PMO staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Management - Gather, document, and track business and technical requirements.
- System Design Support - Assist with the development and review of system designs to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Use & Test Cases - Develop use cases and detailed test cases to validate functionality.
- Testing Support - Execute test cases, review test results, and monitor / report testing activities across all phases.
- Compliance & Documentation - Prepare, review, and monitor project artifacts to ensure compliance with defined methodologies.
- Requirements Traceability - Validate post-implementation outcomes against the requirements traceability matrix (RTM).
- Defect Management - Support defect identification, tracking, and resolution with project teams.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer - Assist in preparing training materials and system documentation.
- Project Coordination - Facilitate and document project meetings, track action items, and monitor completion.
- Risk & Issue Management - Identify potential risks / issues and escalate them for MME PMO review.
- Documentation Updates - Prepare and post updated system and project documentation as required.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience working within a Medicaid program or healthcare-related field.4+ years of experience in the design, development, and / or implementation of Medicaid, healthcare, or data warehouse systems as a primary business analyst .Strong experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and tools.Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and produce project documentation.Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and monitoring test results.Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
