Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 40 hours per week with various shift options available

    • \n

  • 5 eight-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • 4 ten-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • 3 twelve-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM or 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • May require occasional weekend shifts, on-call rotation, and holiday rotation

    • \n

  • May be required to work flexible hours and alternate shifts as needed

    • \n

  • Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images

    • \n

  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide instruction to minimize anxiety

    • \n

  • Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risk

    • \n

  • Select and operate magnetic resonance systems and associated equipment

    • \n

  • Position patients and equipment for optimal anatomic demonstration

    • \n

  • Perform venipuncture and maintain venous access

    • \n

  • Prepare and administer contrast media

    • \n

  • Assist physicians with interventional procedures

    • \n

  • Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate digital data

    • \n

  • Use radiology information systems including PACS

    • \n

  • Provide practical instruction to partners and students

    • \n

  • Graduate of accredited radiography program required

    • \n

  • Experience as MRI Technologist required

    • \n

  • ARRT Radiography registration required

    • \n

  • ARRT MRI registration required

    • \n

  • CPR or BLS certification required
