Position : Panel Builder

We are seeking an experienced Panel Builder to join our team on a full-time basis.

Job Summary :

The Panel Builder will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels and electrical systems for various industrial and commercial applications. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to assemble control panels and electrical systems
  • Select and install appropriate components, such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers, according to specifications
  • Wire and connect components using hand and power tools, ensuring proper placement and secure connections
  • Test and troubleshoot control panels and systems to ensure functionality and adherence to safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following company safety protocols and procedures
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of work
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control panel technology

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in panel building or related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment
  • Knowledge of NEC and other relevant safety codes and standards
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
