Overview

The Retail Managing Data Steward Team at Capital One offers a unique opportunity to partner with the Bank data community to provide education and guidance toward Enterprise data policy compliance. We use data analytics to inform our priorities, opportunities and modernization efforts while ensuring that our data is registered, protected, and secure. Responsibilities

• As a Senior Associate of Process Management, help deliver data-related processes that mitigate risk, ensure policy compliance, and drive results.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams, multiple business segments, and risk and compliance partners to educate the Retail Bank data community about roles, responsibilities, upcoming deliverables, and available tools and features.
• Implement automated monitoring mechanisms and metrics and improve reporting to Accountable Executives and Stakeholders.
• Lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional initiatives to rationalize and improve existing processes.
• Deliver well-managed, re-imagined and streamlined processes that impact the company's data and customers' lives.
• Contribute immediately to strengthening best practices and modernization efforts.
• Develop subject matter expertise on Capital One's Information and Data Management Policy and Retail Bank data management processes.
• Engage with the Retail data community as a champion of data management policies; answer questions and provide SME guidance on data management processes.
• Collect data and information and use analytics and reporting to recommend enhancements or mitigations for identified gaps.
• Support Early Warning Services data contributions, control execution, processes and stakeholder relationships.
• Assist in monitoring Early Warning Services file shares and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
• Draft and lead the development of effective communications materials to support critical data management processes.
• Develop and maintain formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with partners to design, develop, and deliver training strategies and programs on data management processes and best practices, leveraging existing resources.
• Build training plans that include learner data, feedback, measurement and trending to assess progress and refine learning as necessary.
• Lead smaller process improvement work and contribute to larger initiatives with teammates.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. This information is intended for candidates hired to work within the specified locations and reflects what Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

McLean, VA : $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. Process Manager

Richmond, VA : $78,400 - $89,500 for Sr. Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary will be shown in the offer letter.

This role is eligible for performance-based incentives which may include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives (LTI).
