$22–$35 / hour based on experience

Sign-on bonus available

    • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct patient care as outlined by supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients improve mobility and quality of life
  • Document patient progress and assist with care coordination
  • Educate and motivate patients to reach their therapy goals
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and upbeat clinic environment

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Current Missouri PTA license (or eligible)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Outpatient orthopedic or neuro experience preferred (not required)

    • Responsibilities

  • Help the PT in all aspects of patient care
  • Under the guidance of the PT, perform therapy techniques / exercises
  • Measure and track patient progress, informing PT of all changes
  • Provide patients with needed continued care information
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in patient handling, treatment, and management
  • Carry out techniques and exercises prescribed by Physical Therapist
  • Keep Physical Therapist up-to-date on changes in patient progress
  • Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care

    • Required Skills

  • Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program (accredited)
  • Up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license
