The Center Endpoint Services and Support Unit within the Division of Management Services is seeking applicants for an IS Technical Services Senior position. This position will give you the opportunity to problem solve and provide hands-on training while working collaboratively in an enterprise-networked environment. Position Summary
This position provides technical support to staff and students within WCBVI (Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired) and WESP-DHH (Wisconsin Educational Service Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing). This position installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and provides hand-on training related to all components within the team's purview. These components include complex multi-computer (desktop, laptop, mobile device) wired and wireless networked environments and VoIP services.
The position works to support existing desktop technologies, while following agency policies, procedures, and guidelines for monitoring, managing, and maintaining personal computer systems and mobile devices in a complex server and network environment.
Support delivered by this position takes place in a complex, professional technical environment. Customers include both staff and students within the WCBVI's and WESP-DHH business offices, education, residential, outreach, nursing, buildings, and grounds departments.

Salary Information
Depending on qualifications, the salary will be between $33.00 - $40.00 per hour (approximately $68,640 - $83,200 per year). For current and eligible former State employees, compensation will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan effective at time of hire. This position is in pay schedule 07, range 34. A one-year probationary period will be required.

Travel : The person selected for this position will travel between WCBVI (1700 West State Street in Janesville, WI) and WESP-DHH (309 West Walworth Avenue in Delavan, WI).
Headquarters : This position is 100% onsite. The headquarters of this position will be at the WCBVI located at 1700 West State Street in Janesville, WI.
Pre-hire requirements : A criminal background check will be conducted prior to an offer of hire. A TB screen will be required prior to start.
Legal authorization : Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., without DPI sponsorship). The Department of Public Instruction does not sponsor visas, either at time of hire or at any later time.
