Sales Team Leader
The Spice House is looking for a Sales Team Leader who is passionate about spices and results-oriented. This individual will inspire and lead our team of Spice Merchants towards achieving sales targets through exceptional customer experiences. They will demonstrate an excellent work ethic, a willingness to go the extra mile, and an eagerness to grow in leadership responsibility at the company.
Responsibilities :
- Drive both personal and store sales growth through intentional selling behaviors and actions that inspire and influence customer buying decisions
- Lead and coach team selling results that meet store and exceed store KPI goals
- Provide excellent customer service in a specialty food retail environment using strong problem solving skills for both internal and external challenges
- Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations about our spice products based around the customers preferences, needs and desires
- Confidence and initiative with training and coaching (non-disciplinary) of the Spice Merchant team
- Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area and displays clean, organized, and restocked
- Participate in opening and closing store procedures as well as daily operations alongside the other team leaders
- Assist with inventory management through our product management system, organizational processes and correct execution of POS functions
Requirements :
Minimum 2-3 years retail experience and / or relatable experience; store leadership, team lead or supervisory experience preferredMinimum 2-3 years supporting and leading sales techniques that drove revenue growth in a retail or relatable roleProficient in computer skills and related technologiesFriendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service - You genuinely like to connect with people!Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when connecting with customers and making salesCalm, professional and able to problem solveMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods of timeMust be willing to work weekendsPassion for food and flavor is a must!Why The Spice House :
