Software Development Engineer IN Test (New York)

As an SDET for a large company in Seattle Washington you will play a critical role in the development and testing of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement automated testing solutions. Your expertise in various testing tools and frameworks will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.

• Proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, and JIRA
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize JIRA, Rally, and Testlink / Maven for test management and tracking.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and Eclipse.
• Perform database testing using SQL and Oracle.
• Conduct performance testing with JMeter, Load Runner, and other tools.
• Test Java web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to support continuous testing efforts.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
