Job Information

The Moss Department of Construction Management at Florida International University is seeking adjunct instructors to :

• Create, distribute, and review the course syllabus.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students, including cooperative and experiential learning.
• Coordinate courseware and curriculum with academic department chair.
• Present prepared materials and supervise organized activities.
• Evaluate student performance promptly and accurately based on departmental rubrics.
• Coordinate with the college or university bookstore to ensure class material availability.
• Maintain records of student attendance, involvement, and progress.
• Facilitate class instruction and teach assigned material in accordance with learning objectives developed by the department.
• Communicate with students outside of class to provide supplementary instruction when necessary.
• Make copies of supplementary materials for distribution in class.
• Evaluate and provide records of Student Outcomes for accreditation purposes.
