Salary : 19.50

TERRACESS materials are used for friction control in brake pads, which creates stable brake performance for robust brake systems with less noise and wear, making for a smoother, safer ride.

JOB OPENING :

NIGHT SHIFT MACHINE OPERATOR :

Shift : 8 pm to 8 am (2 week repeating work cycle : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday - one week 48 hours, the next 36 hours)

Starting pay $19.50 / hour

Tasks :

  • Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Monitor gauges, recording instruments, flowmeters, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients, according to specifications.
  • Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment.
  • Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using moving equipment and hand tools.
  • Patrol work areas to detect leaks or equipment malfunctions or to monitor operating conditions.
  • Draw samples of products at specified stages so that analyses can be performed.
  • Record operational and production data such as temperatures, pressures, ingredients used, processing times, or test results on specified forms.
  • Fill bags with finished goods and sew seams on bags to seal the finished product bags
  • Sagger handling machine operation and management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing
  • At least 1 year experience setting up and operating machinery
  • Basic Mechanical Skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work safely
  • Must be able to drive forklift
  • Must be able to work in hot / cold and dirty work environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to climb stairs to 3rd level module on regular basis
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Must be able to enter in to confined spaces (after training)
  • Must be able to wear a respirator daily (respirator medical exam is required)
  • Must pass drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
