Responsibilities Hospital-based Radiology Ultrasound department Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts, vascular, and cardiac as required Adult and potentially pediatric patient populations EPIC charting system is used Day shifts of 8 hours, 5 days per week, with on-call rotation for weekdays and weekends Floating may be required to any affiliated location within 60 miles and may include performing duties outside the original skill set in accordance with policy Performs ultrasound exams, prepares and positions patients, administers IV contrast as needed, and ensures patient safety and comfort Maintains equipment, room cleanliness, and appropriate documentation for all procedures Responsible for patient flow, scheduling efficiency, and optimal use of equipment and supplies May be required to participate in clinical training for students or staff technologists On-call coverage outside regular hours may be required per department policy Must adhere to all state, federal, and hospital regulatory and accreditation standards Compliance with hospital flu shot policy required during flu season; medical exemptions only with physician documentation No local candidates accepted as travelers (must reside more than 60 miles from the facility) Requirements High school diploma or GED required ARDMS registered RDMS (OB / GYN, AB, or BR) or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS) (ARRT) required ARDMS RVT(VT) or ARRT R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT) or ARDMS RDCS(AE / PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) also accepted Current American Heart Association BLS required At least one year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred Active license required if applicable; no pending licenses accepted Experience with EPIC charting preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615361.
