2nd Shift Material Handler Direct Hire Opportunity

  • ???? Location : Walker, MI
  • ???? Pay : $22-24 / hr
  • ???? Schedule : 2nd Shift 2pm-11 : 30pm | Full-time

Job Summary :

The 2nd Shift Material Handler is responsible for moving, staging, and organizing materials throughout the production floor to support manufacturing operations. This position ensures that parts and components are available where and when theyre needed while maintaining accuracy and safety in all material handling activities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Load, unload, and transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with necessary materials and components in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete all required documentation.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and 5S / Lean principles.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for most of the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and teamwork are essential.
