Location : Livonia, MI (on-site : 11827 Globe Street, Livonia, MI 48150)

Job Type : Part-time (20 hours per week)

Job Hours : Flexible, 4 5 days per week, 4 5 hours per day

About the Role

Storch Products Company is seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our Accounting Department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for data entry, processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and assisting with other accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter accounting and financial data into the companys systems.
  • Process accounts payable, including entering invoices, matching purchase orders, and preparing vendor payments.
  • Process accounts receivable, including recording customer payments, preparing deposits, and assisting with collections.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
  • Scan, file, and archive accounting and financial documents for accurate record-keeping.
  • Reconcile transactions and ensure accuracy of entries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits, reporting, and other projects.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality of financial records.
  • Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial roles required.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
