Description :

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist works under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist.

The technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients.

This is a fast-paced position in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.

The MRI Technologist utilizes specific modalities to create diagnostic images.

They ensure a safe and positive experience for their patients.

Technologists support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves.

The role involves performing MRI exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those in intensive care), research patients, and patients requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures.

There is no on-call responsibility for this position.
