Position Summary
Ensures performance to the master production schedule to achieve division objectives for customer service, inventory levels, and configuration management. Plans, prepares, issues, and controls moderately complex and / or diverse production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.

Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related experience. In addition, has completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and has passed the CPIM national certification basics exam; OR has passed the majority (3 or more) of the CPIM national certification exams. Knowledge of manufacturing resources planning theories, principles, and industry practices. Proficient in standard business applications, manufacturing resource planning systems, and interface operations. Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to the planning function and to work with production control under legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. Ability to analyze problems, identify factors, and communicate effectively to team members and top management. Ability to respond to inquiries from customers or regulatory bodies and to participate in goal setting and performance development.
