Join Our Team as a Hematologist / Oncologist at Lincoln!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of oncology? As the Director of Oncology Research at NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln , you will blend patient care with groundbreaking research and leadership in clinical trials. This is your chance to mentor the next generation of medical professionals in an academic setting affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University .

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will :

  • Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine residents.
  • Oversee and mentor Hematology / Oncology fellows.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including an 11-chair infusion center.
  • Balance your time between research and clinical practice :
  • 0.3 FTE dedicated to cancer research.
  • 0.7 FTE dedicated to clinical Hematology / Oncology practice.
  • Participate in oncology clinical research and serve as the local Principal Investigator.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria :

  • MD / DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology.
  • Active New York State medical license.
  • Experience in clinical trials, translational oncology research, or investigator-initiated studies.
  • Preferred : Track record of peer-reviewed publications and research funding.
  • Experience in early-phase trials, immunotherapy, or precision oncology.
  • Leadership experience in an academic or clinical research setting is a plus.

    • Wages and Benefits

    We offer a competitive compensation package that includes :

  • Annual Base Salary : $375,000
  • based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Total Compensation Package : Estimated at $450,000
  • , including :
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 based on quality and productivity targets.

  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
