Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will :
- Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine residents.
- Oversee and mentor Hematology / Oncology fellows.
- Utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including an 11-chair infusion center.
- Balance your time between research and clinical practice :
- 0.3 FTE dedicated to cancer research.
- 0.7 FTE dedicated to clinical Hematology / Oncology practice.
- Participate in oncology clinical research and serve as the local Principal Investigator.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria :
MD / DO degree from an accredited institution.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology.Active New York State medical license.Experience in clinical trials, translational oncology research, or investigator-initiated studies.Preferred : Track record of peer-reviewed publications and research funding.Experience in early-phase trials, immunotherapy, or precision oncology.Leadership experience in an academic or clinical research setting is a plus.Wages and Benefits
