Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 3 years OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital Operating Room with 41 OR suites

Level 1 Trauma Center environment

Patient ratio is 1 : 1

Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week starting at 18 : 45

Weekend coverage required based on unit needs with occasional float to weekends

No on-call requirements

Floating required to other ORs within the facility

Types of cases include General, GU / GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries

Epic EMR system used; Epic experience is required

13-week contract assignment

Responsibilities include circulating and assisting in a variety of surgical cases

Pre-start training modules are required and must be completed before the assignment begins

No blocked scheduling requests will be approved

Maximum of 10 days of RTO allowed per contract, with no RTO approved during specified blackout periods

Dress code and scrub color details will be provided during onboarding

Local candidates living less than 75 miles from the facility are eligible but pay rate may differ

Applicants on a Do Not Use (DNU) list are not eligible

Requirements Active CO or compact RN license

AHA BLS certification required

Minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room nursing experience required

Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting is required

Epic EMR experience required

No first-time travelers accepted

Candidates who have been employed by UCHealth or any of its affiliates in any capacity within the last two years are not eligible for consideration
