Position schedule : 80%. Monday through Friday, four 8-hour shifts 0700-1530 with rotating day off. No weekends or holidays. One rotating call 2 (extension of shift) per week.
The University of Iowa Heath Care department of Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking Operating Room Staff Nurse to assess patients' nursing care needs, plan and provide Intra-op care based on needs, evaluate effectiveness of care provided and teach the patient and caregivers as appropriate, integrate nursing theory and research into clinical practice. Provide leadership to members of the nursing team in order to maintain patient care standards.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center includes 12 operating rooms with state-of-the-art technology, including integrated imaging and communication, for outpatient adult and pediatric patients.
Percent of Time : 80%

Salary : $46,069.60 to commensurate. Procedural differential of $4,000 per year. Shift differentials are further detailed in the UI Health Care SNAHP manual.
