About The Position

Roles & Responsibilities – RN Med / Surg

Provide direct patient care for Spine / Ortho post-op patients , with emphasis on Med-Surg nursing.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with physician directives and hospital policies.

Monitor and document patient status, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.

Maintain a safe nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 5 , ensuring quality care and timely response to patient needs.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive care planning.

Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient condition.

Educate patients and families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations.

Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance standards at all times.

Participate in holiday, weekend, and flexible scheduling requirements as per facility needs.

Uphold professional and ethical nursing standards while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
