Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Support Specialist – Service to join our team at ONICON Incorporated . We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Service Technician to support the repair, testing, and calibration of flow meters and related equipment used in commercial HVAC and data center applications. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in electronics troubleshooting, diagnostics, or HVAC service who are looking to grow within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Perform repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on electronic flow meters and related control equipment
  • Complete functional testing and calibration using defined procedures and tools
  • Accurately document service activities, parts usage, and failure analysis
  • Support root cause analysis for service and warranty cases
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and team to meet service turnaround goals.
  • Communicate with customers to provide service quotes, repair status updates, and coordinate return shipments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace environment.
  • Act as a backup for shipping, receiving, and / or any other team member, when necessary, as directed by supervisors.
  • All other related duties as required.
  • Knowledge and Skills Requirement :

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with multimeters, hand tools, and basic PC applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
  • Dependable, punctual, and open to learning new technologies and processes
  • Positive team player.
  • Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Technical training or prior experience in a related field is preferred
