Position Overview :

We are a dynamic and growing Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. Our practice treats a wide range of conditions and offers a collaborative, supportive environment for our team. We're currently seeking a reliable and friendly part-time Medical Assistant to join our versatile and patient-centered team.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinic Support :

Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.)

Accurately enter patient histories and visit details into the EMR

Assist with clinic flow, including exam room setup and cleanup

Organize and prepare for in-office procedures and assist providers during procedures

Triage telephone calls and return messages under supervision

Send accurate and timely messages to providers using EMR communication tools

Call in or send electronic prescriptions as directed by providers

Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or equivalent experience)

Current BLS / CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Experience with EMR systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in ENT, allergy, or specialty clinic is a plus (but not required)

Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflow

Schedule :

Regular hours : Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm. Wednesdays are at our Lehi location and Thursdays are at our Provo location.

Flexibility required : Hours may begin earlier or extend later depending on clinic schedules.
