Michigan Licensed Utilization Review Nurse

A company is looking for a Michigan Utilization Review Nurse - LPN (100% Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Perform Utilization Review to determine the medical necessity of services for Michigan Auto No-Fault injuries

Educate patients and the provider community regarding the Michigan Utilization Review process and its governing laws

Utilize knowledge of medical management related to auto claims and relevant coding systems

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Active Nursing License in good standing - LPN

3-5 years of Med-Surge experience

Knowledge of Michigan PIP / No-Fault and InterQual / Review Manager / CERME preferred

Experience in Utilization Review and familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding preferred
