Plumber

We are seeking a dedicated plumber to join our team, specializing in new construction and commercial projects across Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg, Hagerstown, and other locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Rough in all plumbing lines, ensuring they are level, plumb, and installed correctly.
  • Interpret building specifications and project blueprints.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure tasks stay on track.
  • Show up on time every day and work a standard 40-hour week.

Essential Skills

  • Plumbing foreman experience with minimum 8 years in commercial plumbing.
  • Ability to identify fittings and work with PVC, cast iron, and underground piping.
  • Experience with water systems : CPVC, T's, Y's, and vent systems ranging from 4" to 2".
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and project scheduling.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field working as a plumber.
  • Experience installing pipe and fixtures.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and piping materials.
  • Strong leadership and technical expertise.

    Work Environment

    Work on new construction sites with many moving parts, requiring safety gear such as steel-toe boots, a visible vest, and a hard hat. The position is on a 1st shift from 6 AM to 3 PM, with a half-hour lunch break. The culture emphasizes a proactive attitude and the ability to work well in commercial environments such as hotels and new commercial buildings.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHAMBERSBURG, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
