Responsibilities
To work with internal stakeholders to review and process sign permit applications to multiple jurisdictions
Examining plans and blueprints for accuracy and compliance with building codes.
Calculating permit fees.
Maintaining records of permit applications, inspections, and related documentation for internal stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with sign codes and relevant ordinances.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and report preparation for internal stakeholders
Coordinating with other departments and agencies as needed.
Knowledge of Building Codes : Understanding of relevant building codes and ordinances related to signage.
Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the municipalities and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in using computer systems such as Microsoft, Excel, and ERP systems
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to permit applications.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as fee calculations.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
Experience in a similar role or with building codes is preferred
Must be at least 18 years old.
