Medical Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist (Fully Remote).

Key Responsibilities :

Review medical record documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT IV codes

Perform medical necessity checks for Medicare and other payers as required

Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to resolve coding issues related to claim denials

Required Qualifications :

1+ years of previous medical coding experience

Knowledge and experience with PC and Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with EPIC and coding software tools

Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards

Familiarity with current CMS requirements and coding guidelines
