Block Mold Operator

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Block Mold Operator Candidate in Gainesville, Ga responsible for operating Block Mold equipment in accordance with procedures to ensure optimum product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate block molding equipment and, as needed, assist with pre-expander operations and equipment setup.
• Verify equipment settings and ensure accurate setup prior to initiating production runs.
• Produce molded parts that meet customer specifications for material type, density, weight, size, and shape within acceptable tolerances.
• Monitor the molding process to ensure proper bead fusion and record all relevant production data.
• Cut and label molded blocks according to order specifications and company standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Safely operate forklifts or manual handling equipment to transport finished goods.
• Maintain accurate work logs and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production schedules, equipment status, and quality concerns.
• Comply with all safety protocols and quality system procedures.
