Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to oversee both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations. Responsibilities - Sales Manager
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach sales consultants and support staff to maximize performance and career growth
- Manage new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations including inventory management, pricing strategies, and merchandising
- Develop and implement effective sales processes and lead management practices to improve customer retention and closing ratios
- Work closely with the General Manager and Finance Department to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction across all sales operations
- Monitor sales KPIs including lead response time, appointment set / show rates, demo-to-sale ratios, and gross profit per vehicle
- Analyze market trends and OEM incentives to develop competitive pricing and sales strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat and referral business
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction (CSI) by delivering a premium sales experience
- Collaborate with marketing and BDC teams on campaigns, events, and digital lead strategies to drive showroom traffic
