Urology Physician at Cross Country Locums summary :
The Urology Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive urological care in both clinic and operating room settings. This role involves supervising advanced practice providers and handling an average of 20-25 patients in the clinic, with an additional focus on surgical procedures. The physician responds to minimal beeper calls and ensures quality patient follow-up based on individual health needs.
Urologist Need - Ohio
- Setting : Clinic and OR Time + Call
- Start Date : ASAP at least 3 Months
- Hours : 40 Hours Per Week with some Beeper Call (within 30 Minutes)
- Clinic Hours- 730am 430 pm (1hour Lunch)
- Call schedule : Minimal Beeper Call split between providers. Approximately 3-6 Consults, 0-2 Patients. Most calls are admitted and seen the following day. ER will only admit if needed. Majority of the patients follow up in the office based on pain level and stone size.
- Requirements : OH License, BLS, DEA, PALS
- Scope of work : Clinic + OR, General Urology, Supervise APP Providers, Average clinic volume : 20-25 patients with 50% in office procedures.
- Average OR volume : Monday is OR day each week and one Thursday per month. 5-8 cases
- Support Staff at clinic : 3 RN s, 3 MA s, 5 NP / PA s, 8 Office staff
- EMR : EPIC
