We are looking for a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position within the higher education industry, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise in compensation analysis and benchmarking. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate data management and supporting compensation strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the migration of compensation benchmarking data to the new PayFactors system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Validate and analyze compensation data for diverse and unique positions within the organization.
- Collaborate with People Operations to maintain data integrity and streamline processes during transitions.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform calculations, data validations, and formula-based analysis.
- Support ongoing benchmarking efforts by analyzing market trends and aligning compensation strategies.
- Identify and address discrepancies in data and provide solutions for effective data management.
- Develop reports and dashboards to present compensation insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulations during data handling and analysis.
- Provide expertise and technical guidance on PayFactors functionality to optimize its use.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to compensation data management.
- Proven experience in compensation analysis and benchmarking within a detail-oriented environment.
- Advanced proficiency in using PayFactors is required.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in compensation practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
