Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; MIS or Computer Science preferred. Minimum of 3 years working with POS systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience maintaining and enhancing a Point-of-Sale system and working with POS data and functions (items, barcode, sales, voids, promotions, discounts, payment methods, electronic journaling, taxes). Test new hardware and software, recommending changes as needed. Provide advanced support on escalated calls from store support related to hardware and / or software issues. Highly organized, motivated, and able to work with a sense of urgency. Experience with Gilbarco / Wayne Pumps and CRINDs.
IT Support Analyst (Contract)
Immediate need for a talented IT Support Analyst for a 12+ month contract located in Enon, OH (Hybrid) . Application ID : 25-89646
Pay Range : $40 - $45 / hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
- Direct field personnel in installing new payment terminal equipment and related hardware and software.
- Provide accurate verbal instruction for diagnostics or installation as needed.
- Configure and upgrade software on newly installed devices.
- Identify and correct issues before a location reports a problem.
- Manage multiple tickets and process them in order of priority.
- Complete other duties, including special projects assigned by management.
