Description

Robert Half Technology is searching for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator for a client headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, on a contract-to-hire basis. The Cloud Administrator will provide vision and leadership for developing and supporting IT infrastructure, overseeing the company's tech-stack and cloud strategies to ensure systems are optimal and effective.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity and stability of IT services by monitoring system performance, error messages, coordinating maintenance, responding to outages, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, networks, databases, and software.
  • Design and enhance cloud infrastructure with high redundancy and security.
  • Configure and maintain Cloudflare settings for website performance and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cloudflare solutions into web applications.
  • Work with other departments to align IT solutions with company goals.
  • Stay updated with latest IT infrastructure and cybersecurity trends and recommend improvements.
  • Assess and resolve technical incidents and problems.
  • Configure and deploy firewalls, routers, switches, servers, and other equipment.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and conduct compliance audits.
  • Work extended hours and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in IT system administration on-premises and in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Active Directory deployment, configuration, and Group Policy management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field.
  • Experience with Cloudflare is a plus but not mandatory.
