job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCoordinate, deliver, and track training for clinical staff on topics such as HIPAA, ethics, documentation standards, recovery-oriented care, and crisis response. Develop and maintain a training calendar in collaboration with the HR and Clinical team Ensure consistent onboarding and ongoing training protocols for all new clinical hires. Maintain accurate records of staff training completion and renewal schedules. Provide technical assistance on clinical documentation standards and workflows. Provide structured recovery supervision and clinical guidance to LCDC-Interns. Serve as Field Instructor for practicum students. Ensure supervision activities meet licensing board and university requirements. Document supervision activities and provide feedback to academic partners as needed. Support internal leadership in identifying staff development opportunities for clinical growth. Current licensure in Texas as an LCDC, LMSW, LPC Associate, or other QMHP. Minimum 2 years of experience in direct service within SUD treatment or IOP services Minimum 1 year of program coordination or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of HHSC and DSHS standards for SUD treatment, Medicaid billing, and electronic health record systems Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with trauma-informed care and adolescent-specific programming Current licensure in Texas as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Must be able to meet the physical requirements to including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping, and getting on and off the floor without assistance. On-site role supporting the coordination and oversight of IOP services. Minimal travel ( May require flexible hours including some evening IOP group oversight or staff coordination. Must be able to work in both clinical and administrative environments with exposure to clients in early recovery. Must have access to reliable transportation and be comfortable with telehealth monitoring tools when applicable. Able to operate standard office technology, equipment and utilize office supplies. Standard administrative office environment. This position is not supervisory; rather, it collaborates with program managers to uphold clinical excellence and enforce day-to-day best practices. Regularly scheduled hours may vary during periods of workload fluctuation. Occasional night, weekend and holiday hours will be necessary to support additional recovery programming and / or Rise Recovery events.

The Clinical Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring clinical compliance across the organization by supporting regulatory alignment, training coordination, and internal supervision practices. This role is responsible for ensuring that all clinical programs, personnel, and practices align with regulatory requirements, licensing board standards, and internal policies. The Specialist is responsible for overseeing training systems, supporting supervision needs, and maintaining audit readiness for clinical staff, interns, volunteers, and contractors.
Clinical Compliance
- Monitor clinical documentation, workflows, and staff practices for compliance with all applicable regulations state and licensing regulations.
- Facilitate internal audits and maintain readiness for external reviews.
- Collaborate with managers to identify and address compliance gaps.
- Support policy development related to clinical operations and ethical standards.
- Track corrective actions and follow-up measures related to compliance findings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of required regulatory changes.
- Provide consultation to leadership on clinical risk management concerns.
