Job Title : Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) Colebrook, NH

Facility : Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital

Shift : 3x12's — Night Shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Start Date : October 13, 2025

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Weekly Taxable Pay : $2,202.34

Weekly Stipend : $1,246.00

Certification and License Requirements :

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of New Hampshire or the ability to obtain one.

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to start date.

Must meet all state and facility-specific licensure requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Med Surg patients in a busy hospital setting.

Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, assess patient needs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Document patient information accurately in Meditech Expanse 2.2 electronic medical records.

Respond swiftly and effectively to emergent situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies.

Support and educate patients and their families, promoting a positive hospital experience.

What You Bring :

Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience , showcasing strong clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred, demonstrating adaptability and resilience across diverse healthcare settings.

Ability to start within a short timeframe—immediate availability is preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple patient cases effectively.

Flexibility to work night shifts and committed to delivering compassionate patient care.

Preferred Education & Experience :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.

Previous experience working in a hospital Med Surg floor, preferably with EMR systems like Meditech Expanse 2.2.

Experience caring for a variety of medical-surgical conditions, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
