What This Role Will Do
Assist with annual budget preparation including, but not limited to :
Updating flexible budget model accounting for headcount, software, contractors, capital projects with internal labor, and various fixed costs.
Cost allocations accounting for direct / indirect costs and historical variance analysis.
Coordinate with business leadership to build and present budget presentations.
Serve as primary point of contact for finance support. Includes, but not limited to :
Prepare monthly financial variance analysis at the department and group level.
Lead status meetings with operational leaders to review financial performance, staffing, capital projects, etc.
Coordinate updates with the accounting team for month end accruals, forecast changes, and budget needs.
Perform financial analysis including building complex financial models to support strategic business decisions.
Streamline processes for existing and new tracking templates, presentations, and budget / forecast updates.
Track headcount including new hires, terms, open positions, contractors, etc.
Track and provide finance support for various capital projects, service contracts, software licenses, and consultant agreements.
Support IT / Technology finance support team. Includes, but not limited to :
Backup preparer / reviewer for various monthly JE's and support schedules. Includes capitalized labor analysis for project allocations / accruals and intercompany recharges.
Backup to the Purchase Order process.
Backup to Manager and other team members.
Other duties as assigned by management
