Security Project Assistant
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of security projects, gathering and modeling data, updating procedures and implementing operational best practices based on internal and external variables. Acts as security subject matter expert (SME) and provides leadership and / or consultation to departmental and cross functional project / support teams along with systems operations of the GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) at the Milwaukee and Franklin campuses.
What You'll Do :
- Responsible for managing, analyzing and coordinating efforts across divisions, departments and functions as needed in an effort to ensure effective and efficient process changes, communications and implementation of various projects.
- Actively support / troubleshoot security system technology (access control, video, visitor management) issues along with back-end administration of said systems.
- Evaluates the impact of technology on security processes and researches and / or recommends enhancements to the technology strategy.
- Assist in coordination of development goals, training, and learning opportunities for the corporate security team.
- Gathers data that can be used to report on measures determined by the corporate security, departmental and functional leadership teams. Based on findings, manages and informs of changes needed to meet new and emerging risks.
- Participates in the development of plans and procedures related to enforcing Company policy on security related issues.
- Support critical incidents and investigations across the organization.
- Assists with special event security plan development and execution.
- Other duties as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Role :
Bachelor's degree in criminology, criminal justice or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in security administration.Strong working knowledge of security technology and computer control systems, building automation systems, and emergency preparedness.Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, decision-making and organization skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline oriented environment and to use a consultative approach to resolve issues.Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels, especially on sensitive matters, and to build strong mutual working relationships.Proficient computer skills.Compensation Range : $56,140.00 - $104,260.00
Geographic Specific Pay Structure : 175 - Structure 110 (Exempt) : 61,740.00 USD - 114,660.00 USD 175 - Structure 115 (Exempt) : 64,540.00 USD - 119,860.00 USD
