Quality Manager

Job Description :

The Quality Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of the company's quality assurance and quality control policies in alignment with internal guidelines, industry's best practices, and regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure consistent product quality, compliance with specifications, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Policy Development & Implementation :

Oversee the development and application of QA / QC policies in accordance with company objectives and industry regulations.

Implement a fit for purpose Quality Management System that provides structured quality process guidance in each facility.

Address and manage quality-related issues, conduct root cause analyses with experts, evaluate the impact of technical modifications, and oversee the implementation and evaluation of corrective actions.

Propose and lead initiatives for improvement and / or development in quality systems and procedures. Create key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics to measure effectiveness as well as benchmark against other ITW brands and competitors. Audit procedures and specifications to assess quality compliance.

Disseminate quality-related information and updates across departments and ensure alignment on quality standards. Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on processes and execution of quality objectives.

Validate and monitor supplier quality assurance, through review of contracts, site audits, and close technical collaboration to achieve Vulcan's Quality objectives..
