Responsibilities

Dental Treatment

• Perform expanded duties as licensed by the Florida Board of Professional Regulations for certified dental assistants.
• Polish clinical crowns of teeth.
• Apply topical fluoride gels and varnish.
• Place temporary restorations and sealants.
• Remove sutures.
• Fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord, and cement temporary crowns.
