HVAC Service & Installation Technician

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join a growing team in the Hart, MI area. In this role, you’ll work on both residential and light commercial projects, handling everything from installations to service and preventive maintenance. Key Responsibilities

Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.

Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and complete system repairs.

Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections.

Educate customers on system operation, care, and energy efficiency.

Document all work performed, materials used, and customer recommendations.

Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.

Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

2+ years of HVAC installation and service experience preferred.

EPA Universal Certification required (or ability to obtain).

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
