  • Pay Rate : Rate may vary due to local or non-local contracted rates : $55-60  combined Rate of pay. ( Pay packages are a combination of taxable hourly rates, tax free allowances for travel, housing, and meal allowances) ( Rates are subject to change via client need)
  • Additional bonuses are available.

RAD TECH JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare patients

    • Take a patient's medical history, explain the procedure, and position the patient and equipment to take the image

  • Operate equipment

    • Use computerized and manual equipment to take images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, fluoroscopy, or sonography

  • Evaluate images

    • Review the images to ensure they are clear enough for a doctor to diagnose

  • Document patient care

    • Record patient medical histories, enter patient data into computers, and maintain patient records

  • Communicate with patients and doctors

    • Explain procedures and test results to patients, and inform doctors of patient conditions

  • Protect patients and staff

    • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, and follow infection control policies

  • Assist with other tasks

    • Help with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and restocking supplies
