At Seniors Helping Seniors KC North , we are proud to serve our nation’s Veterans — helping them live independently and with dignity in their own homes. We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and emotionally strong Caregiver who understands the unique challenges Veterans may face, including PTSD, mobility limitations, or health-related struggles.

About the Role :

You’ll provide hands-on, compassionate care and support to local Veterans in their homes — assisting with daily activities (ADLs) such as :

Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

Light housekeeping and meal prep

Companionship and conversation

Medication reminders

Mobility and transfer assistance

Transportation to appointments or errands

Who We’re Looking For :

We’re seeking someone who has both heart and grit — a caregiver who can show empathy and patience but also understands that working with Veterans can sometimes require resilience and a calm, steady presence.

Experience in home care or working with Veterans is required .

Understanding of PTSD and other emotional or behavioral challenges is important.

Must be dependable, professional, and confident in handling sensitive situations with respect.

Schedule & Pay :

Part-time , day and evening hours available
