This skilled role covers a variety of trades, from custodial tobuildingand grounds maintenance.

MAKE AN IMPACT BY...

  • Tacklinga wide range of building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, roofing, welding, and concrete work.
  • Keeping equipment and systems running smoothly with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mowers, and pumps.
  • Takingpride in facility upkeep through light repairs, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining flooring and public / office spaces.
  • Enhancingoutdoor spaces with landscaping, mowing, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal snow removal.

WORK HOURS : Typically, Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.; Hours / days may change as needed for the department.

WORK LOCATION : City of BransonPolice Station; This position requireswork to be performed onsite.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS : The starting hourly wage is $21.92perhour and will increase to $22.79 per hour after 6 months of successful probation .

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

A High school graduate or GED equivalent.

At least three (3) years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and / or performing skilled building.

Possession orthe ability toobtain OSHA 30 certification within 12 months of hire date.

Possession or the ability to obtain certification in Bucket Truck, Crane Truck, and Forklift Training within 12 months of hire date.

Someone with excellent customer service to those of internal or external to the department.

Possession of a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.

Must be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

The ability to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and physical agility screening.

Technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.

Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or other relevant trades is preferred.

Knowledge of building automation systems is preferred.

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems is preferred.
