HALO is seeking a dedicated Product Safety Specialist to join our growing organization. This role provides tactical and strategic support across global sourcing, product safety, ethical sourcing, quality assurance, and sustainability initiatives. The specialist will oversee day-to-day compliance obligations for customized products sourced and manufactured overseas, ensuring alignment with company, client, state, federal, and international standards. This position requires strong collaboration with suppliers, testing labs, and client teams, with an emphasis on accuracy, accountability, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop evaluation criteria for compliance, environmental impact, and ethical sourcing.
• Conduct assessments of domestic and global suppliers to ensure adherence to client standards and scope 3 reporting requirements.
• Maintain and update the client Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Provide training to front-line teams on compliance standards and quoting best practices.
• Review and validate supplier quotes and domestic orders for compliance with third-party audit requirements.
• Verify test reports, coordinate with laboratories, and manage regulatory testing processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance checks, audits, and testing reports for audit readiness.
• Conduct audits of global manufacturers with focus on social, environmental, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with sustainability goals, including material composition verification and environmental reporting.
• Review client product safety guidelines, interpret testing results, and communicate outcomes—including deviations—to client stakeholders.

Requirements :

Compensation : The estimated salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
