POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cutting Board Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment on the cutting board production line. This role ensures products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards while supporting the overall production process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Operate machinery and equipment on the cutting board production line.

Set up machines and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.

Monitor product flow to ensure proper cutting, sizing, and packaging.

Conduct quality checks to confirm products meet company and customer specifications.

Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals.

Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.

Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance.

Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to achieve department goals.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

HS Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience a plus.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Basic math skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Repetitive use of power and hand tools.

Ability to work in varying temperatures (depending on production environment).
