Qualifications :
- 8-10 years of experience with electrical construction / electrician trade including supervisory roles
- Deep knowledge of International Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
- Journeyman's or Master's License highly preferred>
- Ability to obtain Competent Person certification
- Comfortable using technology (computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel to meetings and jobsites as needed
- Must be willing to relocate to Richmond, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Senior Superintendents responsible for the overall management of construction projects, including day-to-day oversight of job site teams. This role ensures all services are performed in accordance with contractual documents, budget objectives, and safety standards. A Senior Superintendent manages multiple and large-scale projects, typically reporting to the Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including multiple and large-scale projects.Lead and supervise job site teams, assigning workers to specific duties and coordinating trade / craft activities.Ensure all work complies with contractual documents, company budget objectives, and safety standards.Maintain strict adherence to company safety rules, conduct safety assessments, and lead weekly Safety Talks.Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for installations.Review and release shop and spool drawings for timely field installation.Inspect ongoing and completed work for conformance to specifications.Teach, coach, and guide teammates to work safely and productively.Monitor and control manpower, tools, and inventory for efficient resource use.Schedule material and equipment deliveries to maintain project timelines.Attend project meetings and complete daily reports, including uploading photos and documents.Review weekly cost reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.Provide technical and management assistance during daily activities.Conduct performance reviews, initiate pay increase requests and enforce disciplinary policies.Recommend and act on hires, transfers, promotions, discharges, and other personnel actions.Work with the Program Manager on monthly cost-to-complete reviews.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
