Overview

An established architecture firm in the western suburbs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse projects from early design through construction administration. This role is client-facing and offers the opportunity to oversee a range of commercial, multifamily, and private education projects while guiding teams in a collaborative studio environment.

Base pay range

$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact and manage projects through all phases
  • Develop and track budgets, schedules, and profitability goals
  • Direct project teams and balance workloads across multiple assignments
  • Oversee quality control and ensure deliverables meet firm standards
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal design staff
  • Build strong client relationships and identify future opportunities
  • Mentor junior staff and support professional growth

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of architectural experience, including at least 2 years in project management
  • B.Arch or M.Arch preferred
  • Licensed Architect preferred (or actively working toward licensure)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and project delivery methods
  • Experienced with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
